Vacations...I need one!

What is your Ideal Vacation Spot? Who would you take? What would you do? Seperate from your Ideal Vacation Spot: Where is your favorite vacation spot? (The last one is just a place with no explanation.)

I have not been away on vacation since Cameron was three years old. My goodness he will be thirteen this year so that's almost ten years! I think i'm way overdue for one! I wouldn't want to go somewhere where it would be really hot or crowded though. I think my ideal vactation spot would be a cabin in the mountains, close to a lake to go swimming in. I would take my husband and kids...and maybe every once in a while go there with just hubby for a little "romantic getaway". We could go swimming, spend alot of time outside enjoying nature, playing games... basically just spending alot of good, fun, quality time together. My favorite vactation spot I would have to say is Mara Lake in Sicamous B.C. :

	I AMwrote: Dirt is yummy, isnt it? I am very shocked that I have not gotten sick latley. I normally would have gotten sick from others, but since it is so warm out, it really helps. I dont get sick in the summer. Just when its colder weather. Wow, 10 years without a vacation? Thats quite awhile. I have been to Victoria Canada. That was beautiful. 	Hopewrote: The last vacation we took was last summer.. we went to see my ex's mother back east.. although we loved seeing the lighting bugs.. or fire flies..( not to sure just what you call em.. ) but they are something to behold..(first time I ever saw them..for flies they rock!! ) the rest of the vacation was.. well.. no offence to those who live back east.. but I was very HAPPY to come back home to the solitude and peacefulness of my Montana mountains.. way to many people in the eastern states for my taste.. I visited Canada once.. it was somewhere by Langley (sp).. oh its so green and beautiful.. would like to go there someday again.. and your picture of Mara Lake makes me want to step into the picture and just breathe in its beauty..
